It’s a beautiful day!
What a wonderful start to our trip . . .
Until . . .
Stacy got a great deal for airport parking - less than $7 per day! But when we arrived at Payless airport parking, we began to appreciate the old adage “you get what you pay for”.
Well, since we had not paid anything yet, we watched in disbelief as the shuttle driver/payment specialty/computer technician tried in vain to assist four customers seeking to exit the parking lot. Their vacations were over, they were eager to get home but could not make a payment in the credit/debit card only machines. So “Ben” (not his real name) attempted to force the machine to do what it was clearly not willing to do: accept credit or debit cards.
So there we stood somewhat patiently waiting for Ben to finish helping the other customers so he could rerun to his primary duties and shuttle us to the airport. Thirty minutes later (give or take), “Tonya” (not her real name) returned to the lot with her arriving passengers and whisked us to the airport straight away. Good thing we had already enjoyed our leisure lunch and thus had nothing to do but await departure time.
